Do you remember the wooden big letter M which I altered for the "Dream Challenge 3.12" in April 2012?
I thought that the Maria's little sister will have to have too her letter next to the M and, as Maria will have to choose her name and she's already very oriented for Agata (as we thought too, probably because she heard her name more often than the other choices), during the Christmas holidays 2012 I bought the letter for the coming daughter at Hobby & Legno and today I finished to alter it, just to have it already at home when the little sister will be born (as I have only 3 weeks left and I don't know how much spare time I'll have after her birth), so since today it shows off onto the shelf together with the M.
I tried to scrap it with the M for Maria's similar papers, I glued onto it the same colored flowers, with the same border encircled with the rose gel by Pebeo and blemished with a brown stamp.
What do you think about it?

And then, incited by my friend Chiara (and I thank her a lot for having planted a seed of doubt in me), I decided to follow the Project Life 2013 because this will be another important year for our family which will become larger, I'll do it in my way because I decided to use one or two mini pages per week at max. of an object which initially was a business cards holder and now indeed became a mini album for my Project Life 2013!

While I expected Maria, I bought from Self two medium-sized wooden letters to decorate or alter, two letters which represent the initials of two names which I liked, imagining that we'd called the daughter with two names because I wasn't able to choose.
Then I decided for Maria and during the subsequent months to her birth I forgot the two wooden letters.
Some days ago, going through my scrapbooking materials, I found the letters again and I smiled at myself silently.
We already know how to name Maria's sister, a wooden letter left and I don't mean to leave it unused: she'll be Agata :)

This time I'm writing just a few hours before the closing of the "Dream challenge 3.12" because I had to wait for the right inspiration, but I absolutely wanted to take part in it!
The request was to create something to hang on the door of the house or of a room.
I bought a wooden big letter, with the initial of my daughter's name, onto which I glued a nice paper and I decorated it with a green fiber, some colored flowers and a shimmed rose stamp, then I sticked on the letters of the rest of my daughter's name with a rose foam alphabet. At the end, I highlighted the borders with another brown stamp and I encircled them with a rose gel for bricolage. Behind the letter, I'll stick on a triangle to hang it on the door of my daughter's room.
I like the result a lot!
