Nuova challenge word su BITW: "Always"

E' uscita la nuova sfida sul challenge blog "Bird is the word"!

Questa volta la parola che vi darà l'ispirazione sarà "Always", la sfida scade il 15 dicembre, potete creare quello che preferite utilizzando anche lo sketch suggerito (ma non è obbligatorio) e dovete linkare il vostro lavoro nella colonna destra del blog alla voce relativa.

The new challenge at "Bird is the word" has been relaesed!

This time the word which will give you inspiration is "Always", the deadline is December 15th, you can create what you prefer using also the sketch provided (but it isn't compulsory) and you have to add your work in the right column of the blog at the concerning item.

Quando penso alla parola "sempre" mi vengono in mente due cose: la famiglia e le origini in generale.

E cosa c'è di meglio che creare un layout con una bella foto di Bologna, il mio ex capoluogo di provincia che visitavo appena potevo, prima di traferirmi in Piemonte?

Naturalmente non vedo l'ora che anche Agata cresca un po' per portare le bimbe a vedere la città che amo tanto, mi manca moltissimo, non ci vado da quando è nata Maria, ci penso spesso e cerco online foto e notizie su di lei!!

Il titolo del mio layout è "Always in my mind", rende bene l'idea, no?  ;)

When I think about the word "always", it comes to my mind a couple of things: family and origin in general.
And what about scrapping a layout with a nice photo about Bologna, which is my ex county seat which I used to visit as soon as I could, before moving to Piedmont?
Obviously I can't wait that Agata grow up a bit to take my daughters there to visit the city which I love so much, I miss it a lot, I didn't go there since Maria's birth, I think about it often and I look for photos and news about it online!!

The title of my layout is "Always in my mind", it gets across the idea perfectly, doesn't it?  ;)

Nuova challenge word su BITW: "Inspire"

E' partita la nuova sfida sul challenge blog "Bird is the Word", questa volta la parola che vi darà ispirazione è "Inspire", vi ricordo che potete creare qualsiasi cosa e che la scadenza è tra un mese, le vincitrici riceveranno come premio un pacchetto di prodotti per scrapbooking dallo sponsor Julia Cotrim shop!!

La parola "Inspire" mi ricorda che le persone che ora ispirano le mie giornate sono le mie due bimbe, così ho creato un layout multicolor per celebrare la mia gioia di averle nella mia vita e per incorniciare un loro scatto insieme.

The new challenge on the "Bird is the Word" challenge blog started, this time the word which will give you inspiration is "Inspire", I remember that you can create everything you want and that the deadline is in a month, the winners will receive a prize package with scrapbooking products from the sponsor Julia Cotrim shop!!

The word "Inspire" reminds me that the people who now inspire my days are my two daughters, so I created a multicolored layout to celebrate my joy to have them in my life and to frame their shot together.

Un mio layout su un podcast e reminder sfide

Questi giorni per l'ennesima volta passano piuttosto velocemente tra impegni familiari, lavori casalinghi e piccoli ritagli di tempo dedicati ai miei progetti di scrapbooking che sto preparando per alcune sfide (alcune a cui partecipo e altre da proporvi prossimamemente nei due challenge blogs di cui faccio parte).

Eppure, nonostante io sia sempre di corsa, voglio soffermarmi un attimo per condividere con voi la bella opportunità che ho avuto grazie ad un'iniziativa di Giada e Giulia di "Musical & Vecchi Merletti": un crafty database al quale le creative di ogni hobby creativo si possono iscrivere e dal quale le ragazze attingono regolarmente per parlare di creatività a 360° su WIP Radio attraverso il loro programma "M&VM".

Ieri sera la puntata si intitolava "Creando sotto la pioggia" ed io sono stata citata subito prima del 46° minuto presentando il mio layout che ho preparato a metà settembre per la sfida in corso "Challenge Word: Dance" del challenge blog "Bird is the Word", ve lo ricordate?
Che emozione!!!

Le ragazze sono bravissime conduttrici radiofoniche, sono molto simpatiche e scovano creazioni stupende, il programma è molto interessante, vale la pena seguirlo sempre!

Sono stata davvero molto onorata di essere stata "ospite" nel loro programma con una mia creazione; se vi va di riascoltarlo, potete trovare il podcast direttamente su "Musical & Vecchi Merletti".

Così colgo l'occasione per due brevissimi reminder per voi:

• tra qualche giorno scade la "Challenge Word: Dance" su "Bird is the Word" (e mi piacerebbe moltissimo vedere qualche italiana che partecipa a queste sfide, è possibile presentare qualsiasi lavoro creativo, l'importante è lasciarsi ispirare dalla parola suggerita);

Today there's the date with the new challenge at "Bird is the word"!

This time the word that will inspire you is "Dance".

I remember that you can use the word in any language and in any way you want, that you can create what you prefer...the unique important thing is that the word should inspire you to create something to play along with us!

Per la mia interpretazione, volevo utilizzare una foto di Maria scattata durante l'inverno 2012-2013 prima della nascita di Agata, un giorno nel parcheggio ha aperto il suo ombrellino rosa e si è messa a ballare sotto alla pioggia, così per il titolo mi è sembrato perfetto prendere una breve frase dal testo della canzone "Singin' in the rain" di Gene Kelly che ricorda quel momento carino.

For my interpretation, I wanted to use a photo with Maria taken during winter 2012-2013 just before Agata's birth, a day in the parking she open her rose little umbrella and started to dance in the rain, so for the title it seemed perfect to me to take a short phrase from the lyrics of the "Singin' in the rain" song by Gene Kelly which remembers that nice moment.

Sul background del layout ho voluto tamponare manualmente dell'acquerello con un foglio di carta assorbente, per dare l'idea delle gocce di pioggia che sono scese a bagnare il colore e a sporcare un po' il foglio.

On the background of the layout I wanted to stamp manually the watercolor with some blotting paper, to give the idea of the raindrops which are fell to wet the color and to dirty a bit the paper.

Challenge word DT reveal su BITW: "Explore/Travel"

Questo è il secondo appuntamento per me come membro del DT di "Bird is the word", ne sono proprio entusiasta!

Oggi, con un leggero ritardo, vi proponiamo una nuova stimolante sfida che riguarda soprattutto l'estate, ma che in realtà può essere interpretata in tantissimi modi: la parola suggerita è "Explore/Travel".
Potete usare entrambe le parole oppure soltanto una, potete tradurle in altre lingue e potete prenderle come ispirazione per creare qualsiasi cosa, vogliamo vedere la vostra creatività!

Io mi sento portata soprattutto per creare layouts e volevo usare la parola "travel" per scrappare il collage di foto che avevo scattato durante la nostra mini vacanza a Lido Adriano (RA) dopo la metà di giugno.
Ho seguito il bellissimo sketch creato da Heather Waldron tutto pieno dei miei tanto amati banners!

This is the second time for me as DT member of "Bird is the word", I'm crazy for it!

Today, with a light delay, we suggest you a new challenging challenge (wordplay!!) which especially concerns summer, but which in reality can be interpreted in a lot of ways: the suggested word is "Explore/Travel".
You can use both of them or just one of them, you can translate them in other languages and you can take inspiration to create everything you want, we want to see your creativity!

I feel to have an aptitude for layouts and I wanted to use the word "travel" to scrap the collage of photos which I took during our short holiday in Lido Adriano (province of Ravenna, Italy) after mid-June.
I followed the beautiful sketch created by Heather Waldron full of my beloved banners!

Finalmente è arrivato il momento di iniziare il mio lavoro insieme al fantastico DT del "Bird is the word" challenge blog.

La parola che vi darà ispirazione questo mese è "Celebrate", potete riadattarla come meglio credete (in inglese o in italiano o qualsiasi altra lingua o cambiarla leggermente o aggiungerci qualcosa) e creare quello che preferite (layout, card, altered item, ecc..).

La scadenza per questa sfida è il 15 agosto.

Potete utilizzare lo sketch fornito, sono certa che sarete molto ispirate!

It's finally time to start to work together with the fantastic DT of the "Bird is the word" challenge blog.

The word which will give you inspiration this month is "Celebrate", you can adapt it as you like (in English or Italian or another language or you can change it a bit or you can add something) and create what you prefer (layout, card, altered item, etc..).

Ho voluto "celebrare l'estate", in particolare la breve vacanza che ho appena trascorso a Lido Adriano (RA).

Volevo delle carte fresche, dal sapore estivo e con colori solari, penso di esserci riuscita.

Come abbellimenti ho utilizzato dei fiori di Prima Marketing, delle conchiglie timbrate di Stamperia, dei bottoni, un washi tape della Rayher, un ritaglio preso da un vecchio numero della rivista Histoires de Pages ed un centrino.

Il titolo è fatto con lettere in legno di Stamperia colorate con un timbro rosso.

Il banner è composto da stelle marine di Stamperia timbrate legate da un filo di spago da cucina.

I wanted to "celebrate summer", in particular the short holiday which I just spent in Lido Adriano (province of Ravenna, Italy).

I wanted some fresh papers, with a summer taste and with bright colors, I think that I succeeded.

As embellishments I used some flowers by Prima Marketing, some stamped shells by Stamperia, some buttons, a washi tape by Rayher, a scrap taken from an old issue of the Histoires de Pages magazine and a doily.

The title is made by wooden letter by Stamperia which I colored with a red stamp pad.

The banner is made by stamped sea stars by Stamperia which are connected by a thread of cookery twine.

Si tratta di un challenge blog in cui ogni 15 del mese viene fornita una parola e uno sketch che daranno l'ispirazione per creare qualsiasi cosa (layout, card, mini album, altered item, cornice e chi più ne ha più ne metta), i lavori delle ragazze sono favolosi, partecipano scrappers e creative da ogni parte del mondo e ci sono premi in palio molto carini.

Potrete seguirmi su quel blog a partire dal 15 luglio, mi farebbe molto piacere vedere partecipazione anche dall'Italia, quindi ragazze...fatevi sotto, voglio vedere i vostri capolavori!

Sono stata molto emozionata di avere questa notizia, ci tenevo molto a fare questo tipo di esperienza online, per me è la prima volta che faccio parte di un DT ed era uno dei miei desideri più grandi, quindi ci metterò tutta me stessa e darò il meglio!

It's about a challenge blog where every 15th of the month we'll provide a word and a sketch which will give you the inspiration to create something (layout, card, mini album, altered item, frame and so on), the girls' works are amazing, scrappers and creative women from everywhere take part in challenges and the prizes are very nice.

You can find me on that blog starting from July 15th, I'd really like to see Italian participants, so girls...get stuck in, I want to see your masterpieces!

I've been very thrilled to receive this news item, I treasured to have this experience online, it's my very first time in a DT and it was one of my biggest dream, so I'll knucle down and I'll give my best!
