Layout per sfida ottobre 2012 di Scrappando

Oggi partecipo alla sfida di ottobre 2012 di Scrappando, la richiesta è di utilizzare tre tecniche precise:

• Masking = usare maschere o stencil;
• Misting = usare spray glimmer mist o simili;
• Tearing = strappare/rovinare i bordi.

Ho trovato le richieste molto stimolanti e ho voluto provarci, avevo una foto di Maria scattata durante l'estate appena finita pronta da scrappare ed è stata perfetta per questa sfida per creare un layout carino e femminile...come sempre io sono soddisfatta!

Today I take part in the October 2012 challenge by Scrappando, the request is to use three precise techniques:

• Masking = usare maschere o stencil;
• Misting = usare spray glimmer mist o simili;
• Tearing = strappare/rovinare i bordi.

I found the requests very challenging and I wanted to give it a try, I had a photo about Maria taken during the just finished summer ready to scrap and it's been perfect for this challenge to create a nice and girlish layout...I'm satisfied as usually!!

M & A: iniziali di legno

Mentre aspettavo Maria, avevo acquistato da Self due lettere di legno di grandezza media da decorare o alterare, due lettere che rappresentavano le iniziali dei due nomi che mi piacevano, immaginando che avremmo chiamato la bimba con due nomi perchè io non sapevo quale scegliere.

Poi ho deciso per Maria e durante i mesi successivi alla sua nascita ho dimenticato le due lettere di legno.

Qualche giorno fa, rovistando tra i miei materiali di scrapbooking, ho ritrovato le lettere e ho sorriso a me stessa in silenzio.
Sappiamo già come chiamare la sorellina di Maria, è rimasta una lettera di legno e non ho intenzione di lasciarla inutilizzata: sarà Agata :)

While I expected Maria, I bought from Self two medium-sized wooden letters to decorate or alter, two letters which represent the initials of two names which I liked, imagining that we'd called the daughter with two names because I wasn't able to choose.

Then I decided for Maria and during the subsequent months to her birth I forgot the two wooden letters.

Some days ago, going through my scrapbooking materials, I found the letters again and I smiled at myself silently.
We already know how to name Maria's sister, a wooden letter left and I don't mean to leave it unused: she'll be Agata :)

Layout per la "Dream layout 10.12" challenge

Innanzitutto, vorrei ringraziare il dt dello Scrap Dreams blog perchè ho vinto la sfida "Dream layout 9.12", sembra una frase retorica, ma è vero che non mi aspettavo di essere io la guest designer del blog per il mese di novembre e ne sono felicissima!!!
Poi voglio partecipare alla "Dream layout 10.12" challenge in cui il dt offre uno "scrapbook starting point", una specie di background dal quale iniziare per creare il proprio layout a piacere, seguendo l'esempio di Shimelle.

Io mi sono sentita molto ispirata e ho realizzato il mio layout in un'ora (per me è inusuale in così poco tempo), ho trovato il background veramente perfetto per scrappare la foto del secondo compleanno della mia bimba (in tutto questo tempo ve l'ho già detto che si chiama Maria?), che abbiamo festeggiato 5 mesi fa.

Sono molto contenta dei colori che ho utilizzato per il mio layout, sono brillanti e allegri!!

First of all, I'd like to thank the Scrap Dreams blog's dt because I won the "Dream layout 9.12" challenge, it sounds like a rhetorical phrase, but it's true that I didn't expect to be the guest designer of the blog for November and I'm very happy about it!!!
Then I want to take part in the "Dream layout 10.12" challenge where the dt offers a "scrapbook starting point", a sort of background from which to start to create your own layout to your liking, following the example by Shimelle.

I felt very inspired and I created my layout in one hour (for me it's unusual in such a short time), I found the background really perfect to scrap the photo about the second birthday of my daugher (in all this time have I already told you that her name is Maria?), which we celebrated 5 months ago.

I'm very happy about the colors which I used in my layout, they're bright and merry!
