Layout "#LoveYou" per la "Dream Layout 3.13" challenge

Anche questa settimana sono riuscita a creare un layout, questa volta per la "Dream Layout 3.13" challenge dello Scrap Dreams blog.

La richiesta era di farsi ispirare dall'immagine della macchina fotografica di Instagram, l'idea mi è piaciuta moltissimo.

Io ho scelto di utilizzare i colori della macchina fotografica sul mio layout. Ho anche intitolato il mio layout con un hashtag carino di Instagram che era perfetto per la foto del layout, ho scelto la parola "#loveyou".

Il layout è volutamente semplice per mettere in risalto la foto che letteralmente adoro, scattata quando Maria è venuta a conoscere la sorellina in ospedale pochissime ore dopo che era nata. Non ho inserito nessun journaling perchè ho pensato che il layout non ne ha bisogno, ma ho aggiunto tanti banner che sono la mia ultima ossessione e intorno al bordo della foto ho riportato la stessa parola del hashtag scritta a mano.

This week, like the past one, I was able to create a layout, this time for the "Dream Layout 3.13" challenge by Scrap Dreams blog.

The request was to take inspiration from the pic of the Instagram camera, I liked the idea a lot.

I chosed to use the colors of the camera onto my layout. I also entitled my layout with a nice hashtag of Instagram which was perfect for the photo of the layout, I chosed the word "#loveyou".

The layout is intentionally simple to highlight the photo which I literally adore, I took it when Maria arrived at the hospital to meet her little sister a few hours after her birth. I didn't write any journaling because I thought that the layout doesn't need it, but I added a lot of banners which are my latest obsession and I wrote in longhand the same word of the hashtag all around the border of the photo.

Layout "Bismamma felice" per sfida marzo di Scrappando

Siamo ritornati a casa e ieri pomeriggio sono riuscita a creare un layout per la sfida di marzo di Scrappando. Ci tenevo particolarmente perchè nella sfida si chiede di usare le cuciture fatte a mano, ma soprattutto mi interessava il fatto di creare un layout su me stessa, che era la seconda richiesta della sfida.

Da poco più di un mese, ho un nuovo status e non potevo non scrapparlo: come dice il titolo del mio layout, sono diventata bismamma e per di più ne sono molto felice (anche se è dura con una quasi treenne e una piccolina)! Così ecco la nostra prima foto ufficiale in quattro!

Nel layout, ho inserito un personale esperimento, cioè un abbellimento handmade creato grazie ad un'ispirazione di Pinterest: un fiore in carta di giornale (vedere scatto centrale dei dettagli nell'ultima foto qui sotto)! Il risultato mi piace molto ed è stato facilissimo crearlo; credo che d'ora in avanti produrrò fiori in carta di giornale (su Pinterest l'idea originale erano fiori in carta di libro) in quantità industriali :)
Mi sono anche divertita con la tecnica del layering sotto alla foto, usando ritagli di carta!

Il vincolo delle cuciture fatte a mano è rappresentato dalle cuciture sotto al titolo foam, per mettere in evidenza la parola "felice" che è risultata un pò piccola (per mancanza di spazio), ma assolutamente non meno importante!!

We're back home and yesterday afternoon I was able to create a layout for the March challenge by Scrappando. I valued it particularly because in the challenge the request is to use the handmade stitching, but I was especially interested in creating a layout about myself, which was the second request of the challenge.

Since one month and a few more days, I have a new status and I had to scrap it: as the title of my layouts says, I became mom of 2 and in addition I'm very happy about it (even if it's hard with an almost 3 y.o. girl and a baby one)! So here it's our first official photo in 4!

In the layout, I put a personal experiment, that is a handmade embellisment created thanks to an inspiration from Pinterest: a newspaper flower (please see central shot of the details in the last photo here above)! I like the result a lot and it was very easy to create; I think that from now on I'll produce newspaper flowers (on Pinterest the original idea were made by book flowers) in large amount :)
I also enjoyed myself with the technique of the layering below the photo, using paper scraps!

The restriction of the handmade stitching is represented by the stitching under the foam title, to highlight the word "felice" (happy, author's note) which resulted a bit small (for lack of space), but absolutely not less important!!

My Happy Place week #6

Il mio "My Happy Place" della settimana 6 è breve, ma ugualmente ricco di belle emozioni:

• sono diventata zia per la prima volta :)
• ho trascorso una settimana con parenti e amici nel mio paese natale e ho fatto loro conoscere Agata;
• ho ricevuto il libro che avevo ordinato la settimana scorsa e ho iniziato a leggerlo, è proprio come pensavo: mi piace molto;
• ho stampato alcune foto che utilizzerò per l'album dei ricordi di Agata e per creare alcuni bei layouts;
• ho trovato qualche bella ispirazione da Pinterest per il battesimo di Agata e per creazioni scrappose.

My own "My Happy Place" of the week #6 is short, but equally full of good feelings:

• I became aunt for my very first time :)
• I spent a week with parents and friends in my hometown and I introduced Agata to them;
• I received the book which I ordered in the past week and I started to read it, it's just as I imagined: I like it a lot;
• I printed some photos which I'll use for the Agata's memory book and to create some nice layouts;
• I found some nice inspirations on Pinterest for the Agata's baptism and for scrapping creations.
